Below are screenshots and a workflow of the point of sale and backend reporting.  Our backend reporting system is the number one solution on the market!  We interface with various point of sale applications by prefer Microsoft Point of Sale and Microsoft Retail Management Solutions.  These front end solutions are the most stable and user friendly out of any point of sale solution you will find.
 
1) Sales are entered throughout the day, on one or more registers.
 
2)  Each night the system pushes sales information to a secure server and an email gets generated to whomever the store owner wants:

3)  Individuals with web access can log into the website and see sales information:  Below is a sampling of that can be seen.  For multi-unit operators please pay particular note to the comparison screens. 
 
 
The above screenshot displays metrics for a particular store.  Users can select the dropdown list to select a different store.  Access to multiple stores can be limited based on login.
 
 
The above screenshot shows the Sales Analysis dropdown list.  There are many grids and graphs in the system.  We have highlighted a few for your review.
 
 
The above screenshot shows a graph of sales by day for a particular store.  PLEASE NOTE that all graphs have drill down capability.  The drill down on this graph will detail sales by hour.  From sale by hour graph you can drill down to sales by department and eventually to items sold by hour.
 
 
 
The above screenshot is a grid view of sales by day.  Two columns that are cut off are number of customers and net sales.  PLEASE NOTE**  All grid information can be downloaded to Microsoft Excel by clicking on the disk.
 
The above screenshot shows sales by hour.  Users can drilldown to see what was actually sold in that hour.  Users can easily change between stores and days.
 
 
 
The above screenshot shows sales by department by date range for one store.  You can again drill down to see more detail.
 
The above grid shows average sales by day by hour.  This proves to be useful for scheduling employee time.  Users can also download this to their desktops and open it in Excel.
 
The above grid takes it a step further comparing average sales to your average labor.  Users can see where they are over/under staffed.
 
 
The above grid shows users how your days are trending by moving average.  Users can also see their slow days.  This  is a great screen to see what days you need to fix.  We use this screen along with the Average Sales by Hour by Day to "plug holes" with marketing opportunities to boost sales in the slow days/hours
 
 
The above grid shows how your weeks are trending by various information.  PLEASE NOTE as with all the grids, users can click the up and down arrows to sort columns realtime. 
 
Our EIS system also allows you to enter notes on a per day basis.  This proves useful so when you look back over time there may be events like weather, promotions, holidays that you make note of to explain why sales are the way they are.
 
 
The above chart shows sales by date range by 30 day moving average.  This is a great way to see how a store is trending.  Users can also move the mouse over any point on the chart to see sales/moving average numbers.
 
 
 
Average Labor by hour shows how the store us staffed.

The above graph shows sales by day by store.  These screens can be customized by username.  Perhaps you have a district manager that only needs to see his/her stores.  We can accomodate that.
 
 
The above shows store comparison by week.  As with all the graphs if users do a mouse over various information will appear.

The above grid can compare your selling price by store.  Users can select which locations to see side-by-side for comparison.
